Shaun Chatterton, our Chief Executive, explains how you can improve the perception and environmental credentials of your washroom whilst saving money!

“Washrooms need to be carefully considered in any type of business – whether it’s an office or retail outlet. First impressions really do count and customers may judge a business’ outlook based upon what they find in the washroom!

“If a company washroom is clean, smells good and offers a pleasant environment for employees and visitors, it can create a positive impression of the company – even more so if environmentally friendly cleaning products are used!

“There’s a common misconception that going green means you have to compromise on style and cleanliness – but this couldn’t be further from the truth! In fact, many eco-friendly products, such as those in the Green Planet range, are actually just as effective as harsh, abrasive, traditionally used chemicals. They smell great too – combating one of the major negative washroom perceptions – bad smells.

“Washrooms tend to waste a lot of energy too – especially those that are equipped with heated hand dryers. There’s a growing range of new generation hand dryers hitting the market that dry hands in super quick time and use less energy.
